At KimCo, I write assembly documentation for cable harnesses and printed circuit boards, which keeps me close to the hardware itself.

Cradlepoint, Cell Tower NCM
Problem:
NetCloud Manager users managing geographically diverse networks struggle to locate devices, see which cell tower each one connects to, and troubleshoot network issues.
Role:
Interaction Designer III: UI/UX design in Sketch and Sympli, from research and sketches to high-fidelity mockups. Also designed the online/offline map icons now used across NCM maps.
Impact:
The online/offline icons are used on all NCM maps (Home Dashboard, Cellular Health, Geoview) with a consistent look and feel.

Cradlepoint, Speed Test
Problem:
Installers and support need immediate performance insight and connection type (5G, 4G or 3G) during installation and troubleshooting of wireless WAN connections.
Role:
Interaction Designer III: UI/UX design in Sketch and Sympli. Designed on-demand testing and a scheduling system for stored results, integrated through APIs.
Impact:
Simplified installation and supported more accurate troubleshooting, per the site.

HP, Express Decision Portal
Problem:
The Express Decision Portal, a managed print services portal for customers, partners and HP support, used a dark gray and black interface.
Role:
Advanced Interaction Designer: prototypes in Axure Pro, wireframes, flows, design system specs, and custom UI elements with HP engineering teams.
Impact:
The new blue and white interface received positive feedback from users, and my contract was extended by over 350%.
